Adventurers Who Inspire Us: Celebrating Bianca Adler’s Everest Summit
Adventure means different things to different people.
For some, it’s a weekend camping trip, a trail through the bush, or a surf before sunrise.
For Bianca Adler, it meant standing on top of the world.
This morning, Bianca became the youngest Australian to summit Mount Everest — an incredible achievement made even more inspiring by the fact she’s currently completing Year 12 at my old high school.
Like a lot of people across Australia and beyond, we’ve been following the expedition closely over the past few weeks. Last night, we stayed up watching Bianca’s tracker slowly crawl toward the summit, refreshing updates and hoping for good news through the early hours of the morning.

When the summit confirmation finally came through, it felt pretty special.
Bianca completed the climb alongside guides Pemba Chhiring Sherpa and Ngudu Sherpa, summiting before the crowds in freezing temperatures, darkness and strong wind — conditions that make Everest both beautiful and brutal.
Writing from base camp on the family’s blog, Bianca’s mum Fiona summed it up perfectly:
“The only downside is that she’s summited in the dark. But that’s a small price to pay for a safe and successful summit.”
What stands out most about Bianca’s journey isn’t just the summit photo that will eventually follow, but everything that came before it.
The training.
The discipline.
The setbacks.
The willingness to be uncomfortable.
The decision to return after previous challenges and keep pushing forward.
That’s what adventure really is.
At Brewers Orchard, adventure has always been at the centre of what we do. It’s why we are launching the Adventure Series, why we built the Brewers Orchard Adventure Map, and why we’re drawn to stories of people getting outside and doing hard, meaningful things.
Some adventures happen close to home.
Some happen across the ocean.
Some happen 8,849 metres above sea level.
Bianca’s story is a reminder that age doesn’t define capability, and that extraordinary things can grow from hard work and a willingness to take on something bigger than yourself.

We’re incredibly excited to eventually add a photo from Bianca’s expedition to the Brewers Orchard Adventure Map and hear more about the climb once she’s safely home.
Until then, congratulations Bianca — and safe travels back down the mountain. 🍎🏔️
At the time of writing, Bianca has made it back down to camp 4.
